CVK 34 Keihin - Float level!

In the states, this was the upgrade to the FZR600. In other places, this is called an FZR. Either way, many of the components of the US YZF600r fit onto the US FZR600.

CVK 34 Keihin - Float level!

Post by cs_05_hho »

Hello Guys! Sorry for creating this topic, but couldn't find the proper one... so here it goes:
On my YZF 600R 4jh (FZR 600R - for Europe) - I run stock carburetors - Keihin CVK 34 - I am planing to give them a full clean-up - please tell me what is the proper float level for the stock setup? On the 3he I've heard it is 23-24mm... is it applicable for the 4jh as well? And regarding the fuel-air ratio screw how many turns should it be out? I've turned it 1.75 turns... wasn't quite satisfied with the idleing... turned it 2 turns out from zero and the idleing was getting a little better - did you guys have more turns out?
Thank you!

I believe the float levels are around 23-25. Stock the idle air mixture screws are 3 turns out. my2cents
