Shreds 94' YZF600R (She lives! Need some running help)

In the states, this was the upgrade to the FZR600. In other places, this is called an FZR. Either way, many of the components of the US YZF600r fit onto the US FZR600.

smoking stopped.
the rpm needle goes from the idle of like 1.5K then jumps to 0 and then jumps to 8K, then back to idle but the bikes actuall RPMs stay at idle...the needle is possest.

she holds idle...if I give her any throttle at all shes goes plump and dies...if I try adjusting idle screw, she almost dies and idle screw doesnt seem to effect idle at all.
if I take it off choke she bogs down and dies....

im letting her run for awhile.

head pipes 1&2 are good around 400degrees, but 3&4 are about 135 lol...they have good plugs in themmm....

im gonna let her cool down then change the plugs in 3&4 and then try again

Might want to play with with adjustment screws (pretend you are synching it). It's probably just rich.

Don't get ahead. Get it to idle and run and then tune it.

oh i dident mean the filter i ment the lack of fuel i would assume that it stays running cause with the chock on to reduce the air mixture with the fuel compensating with the reduced fuel flow and when you open the throttle it gets more air then fuel and dies do all the float bowls fill with fuel . are you able to get it to rev up if you give it quick throttle burst open closed open closed

theres fuel in the float bowls. I think its clogged jets...they were pretty bad when I tried cleaning them...actually had to get some sand paper to scrap off gunk...so maybe just needs better cleaning

thats probally what it is if your carb are filling and you have spark but with no temp on the exhaust then i would say the jets are cloged assuming theres compression you could just put your hand on the carb to feel for vacume. hey next time you check the temps could you see what the temp is where the header meets the head on the head side i wanted to know if it gets over 500 degrees cause of the paint i used on my engine

It sounds like all 4 cylinders are firing to me. I'd clean all the jets one more time for good measure and I'd synch it since you can at least get to idle.

This link should help with the synch part. I have a feeling that it's really rich and the white smoke is unspent fuel but that's just a guess.
