FZROnline.com Kickstand Pads

Post by bweight »

Did alot of searching for some decent priced, decent quality kickstand pads. I think I've found a couple that will work for us. The major hurdle from almost all the places that make custom pads is that you had to buy in bulk to put an order through. And I'm talking 100's of them. For us, we're still in our infancy as a community. Slowly growing every day and maybe someday down the road we can relook at the situation and come up with some better accessories, but right now we can start looking at designing from the styles below and then move on.

Anyways, here's the basic design and layout of the pads. There's 2 examples from the place and yes they look crude but that's the next step. Looking at the design of the pads and then getting into the pricing and start production. So without further adieu, here are the styles:

First - Yam, I have no clue what the string holes are for.. :)

As for the look of em, they're not even close to what they'll look like (printing wise) in the end. I just put the text on there for show.

As for cost, it all depends on how much we order. The place I found that can make them is the only one who will do it in small quantities (from what I've found anyways).. So the more we purchase the less it would cost. I'm figuring somewhere in the $6-8 shipped range if we order around 100 at the time.. By the time we figure in shipping and the amount being re-distributed to the site that's why the cost will be there.

If we only get up to around 50, then the price will be a couple of dollars more. I mean we can ALWAYS order more than we need as the community is constantly growing. The only issue is sitting on these items for a long time.. Either way, more details will come as we move along.

Perhaps you should use the poll feature? Id like to have the logo on the top. But mostly would prefer the one that works the best.
