I did complete overhaul of the fizzer. The old 92 engine was tired, making a lot of unhappy noises and the frankenstein wiring was having issues.I was to the point I just wanted to get rid of the bike all together.
So to bring new life back into her I got a new/used engine off ebay It's a 98 fzr600 with 7500 miles on it and a new harness.
Anyway here are the pics of the rebuild..

Engine from the bay.

The headlight is from a 76 CB 750.

Not counting waiting for parts and paint dry time,it took me about 4 days to tear down and put back together.

The actuall time was.Lets see I started on Sep 25 and had it running on Oct 8 so 13 days... :shocker

Did a few more things to the fizzer.
I was having brake problems.I would get them to kinda work than they would go soft.Swaped masters, nothing.Got different calipers nothing.Hummm,Raidal master nothing.Crap .Ordered a whole 06 R1 mono block calipers and brembo radial master set up.While waiting for those I thought long and hard what the problem could be?Im looking and looking than it hits me.I look up a pic of a 06 GSXR and damn it.I had the calipers on backwards. Fliped them around, bleed them and they worked fine .I switched to the R1's any way and threw the GSXR's back up on the ebay .So heres some pics of that.I also modified and moved my guages into my tank cover.
