Gauge Options

In building a naked FZR, what are the options for speedo mounts? I was thinking about cutting up the birdcage to mount the gauges or maybe just keeping the frame bracket from the cage and welding new arms to it... but I'd prefer to go somewhere on the forks rather than to the frame. What did others do for this?

I'm still running stock guages and whatnot, but you could either make a mount that attaches to the stock birdcage mount on the steering head or just make a bracket that attaches straight to the top triple. Anything is possible, it just depends on how much work you want to do.

dude i took ther lazy way and just bought aftermarket gauges. I tried forever to come up with a decent way to mount the stock gauges and everything came out ugly. if you have the cash check out trailtech vapor gauges like 120 for speedo and tach and they are digital my2cents

Electrosport makes a nice one as well, thats what Im running. Its mounted directly to my upper triple. It was only about $130 IIRC and I got one with a few more options.
