my little project bought for £100 has spent the last 3 years in a garden(yard) the engine was locked up anyway let the pics commence.

Certainly a different concept, where abouts are you in the UK, I'm on the west side of London out by the airport.

hi its a yam xtz660 tank im not a 100% sure about using it ive mounted the back of it but im trying to decide if i like the look of it :headscratch: having seen the yzf conversions on here that may be the way to go :headscratch: :headscratch: :dubious:

Is that a "real" tank or a dummy cover since the carbs intake need some room

word of warning be prepared for a lot of carb tuning if you go real tank and individual or Paired air filter pods. NOT impossible but a fair amount of work that can be soul wrenching.

its a real one :yikes: from a diversion(seca 2) and i believe the standard air box will fit under it (but il have to put the motor back together to confirm clearance) needs front and rear mounts making,and move the filler for the rad il post pics when i do it but at the moment im trying to sort out the head :grinnod:

done a bit more sorted the head and so the motor can go back together hopefully at the weekend

before you get the bike running, you should seriously consider doing an yzf or R6 Voltage Regulator swap.
