Last Winters build. (From archives) (56k Beware)

Post by thatkid »

Well there will be no comments attached because it would have been too damn hard to do it that way. So you have before you a picture book of my build. Feel free and ask questions if something is confusing. It took me almost 6 months to finish this part of the build. This winter has a whole new baby coming up. And on with the show....

First off, if anyone quotes thatkid's posts above you will die an instanous death.
Second, absolutely great build nate. Theres some real blood, sweat, and tears that went into that. I'm extremely happy to see that you haven't sold it off yet like the rest of these clowns :whistle . You don't have any plans to sell right?

I would keep you in a dungeon and make you fabricate things for me for a false hope of freedom.

Haha, thanks man. I am selling it next season but not all of it. I'm keeping the motor and front end and it's going on my 400 frame. Then it's all custom work again for the rest. So I'll still have the heart of it. I'm just not happy with the tail as it's been done to death. Everything on this bike is so unique that I need to do something original with the tail section.

And no dungeons...I have allergies! :whistle

Just have to be careful. I may tell you they are 6061 dogbones but really I bought the metal at home depot on clearance....

Thats not what I wanted to hear!

Sweet build dude, I wouldn't have nearly as much perseverance as you to build a bike like that. :notworthy:
