Is there a place that doesn't wnat $200 for a set of 4" headlights for a "fighter"?
Anyone have a good resource for headlights that mount to your forks?

I know of one that doesn't want $200. Instead they want $449, but I don't think that helps you any.
Incase you want to check them out anyway -
http://www.spieglerusa.com/ - Look down the left side at the MIG Lights section.

I think those are just projectors and not HID.
What is going on? Looks like everyone is onthe bandwagon to make a killing off streetfighters.
I just want a couple flat black lights.
They want $230 + shipping on these:

I just need to find an old light and paint it flat black.

Talk to Spyder as well I remember when he switched to a dual light (can't remember what size though) that was a true HID and got it for less than 150 but that was a while ago. And you're right. Gas prices are high so more people are riding bikes and bringing old bikes back from the dead and since bodywork is so expensive these days people are just "going fighter" and of course because gas prices are higher they have to raise prices.

If you really want to go cheap, then you can always run to the auto parts store and buy some fog lights. They typically won't have a high/low beam, but you can always wire them up so one=low and both=high.
Also have you considered a Buell headlight?...they're not 4", but they are suprisingly cheap considering its a new part actually designed for a motorcycle. Here's a how-to (with part numbers and prices) for a Bandit,
http://cjquinn.com/bandit/bandit.htm (the dual headlight is near the bottom)
Also you might try these guys, they're prices are a little bit better, but they are only 3.5 inches,

Just keep your eyes open.. I got my Aztec8 set for $100 shipped to my door, and the HID's were another $85.
