87 fzr 1000 starter does not turn when button is pushed

I have a 87 fzr 1000 every thing was good let it sit for a couple of days tried to start it and only get the red oil light come on when starter button is pushed .i have replaced the solenoid and tried a different starter button same results just get a red light

Is it in gear, or neutral? Stand up or down? Clutch pulled in, or out?

Be prepared to check your clutch, neutral, and sidestand switches.

I can jump the solenoid and it runs I can ride it in all 5 gears shut it off and try to start it and nothing .I've changed the starter solenoid and used a good start button and have it in neutral with a green light
