Color Scheme - Yellow / Black

Post by ragedigital »

Forgive me for not taking the time to make the template extra purty, but you get the idea.

I've had so many issues with the clear coat going over Dupli-Color's metallic Smoke Gray, plus Track Days are coming up and I really feel I need to be seen better on the highway.

So, here's the plan - comments, critiques, suggestions? It's basically and updated version of the older Yamaha colors, similar to ThisEndUp's bike and China Racers.

i'd add more black sections on the checkered part , there's too few and they seem too big .

Should the black rectangles all be the same width or large to small?

i love the yam anniversary colors

genereally as the 'rectangles' go from front of bike to back, they get smaller in every dimension..... to form a pseudo triangle

I like it Rockso.

My biggest issue is laying out the tape, but I think I have that figured out too. I have a laser level on my camera tripod that I'll use to lay it out. I'll keep everyone posted.

Hope I don't step on your toes, doc, if I borrow some of that scheme...

I wanted to run that design on mine but couldnt figure out how to work it into the airtech R6 tail and make it look right.
