fzr 250 3ln problem

Post by frog »

hi guys
i changed the fuel hoses on the bike fzr 250 3ln as the other ones were leaking and old, however now theres no petrol reaching the engine, iv checked all the hoses and there ok no leaks ,i dont no much about bikes atm but i think could be something small as the bike was staring fine before i changed the hoses :duh:

Do you have the petcock piped correctly? Are your tank outlet screens clean? Is there fuel in the tank? (sorry - couldn't resist)

Are these direct-replacement OEM parts, or fuel hose from the local shop? DIY hose is REALLY easy to kink. Hell, I've seen guys posting about kinking STOCK hoses while re-installing the tank and airbox.

Is the fuel filter installed right way around? Is the fuel pump piped right way around? Installing the pump backwards is DEFINITELY an exercise in frustration ... banghead
