FZRSupport: the FZROnline Archive

Hi,
i own a fzr 250 1990 model, it has started to make a tapping noise which is coming from the engine.
I have been told that it sounds like a valve tapping on a cylinder but was just curious if anyone knows of something else to look out for or what is causing this ill noise.
I was also wondering where i can get a hold of a workshop manual.

Enay the workshop manual or google it.

The tapping sounds like a bearing on the rod. Needs rebuilt if thats the problem.

There is no English manual for these bikes, as they were never officially exported. FZR250.com has a (rather poor) .pdf of the 2KR version; I've seen the various manuals and supplements on Yahoo Auctions Japan, but don't have a connection to buy them yet.
