Quick question, my fzr is registered as a 89 but from looking online and the shape it is a 1990 model 3nl3
it has projector headlights, four position front brake lever etc

answered my own question!!
the chassis number lies between the 1990 model 3nl3, must be a mistake when it was registered

Yea the rego date can be anything as these bikes are grey imports...........i think they just guess sometimes.

The 3LN1 had the twin headlights so chances are yours is a 90 3LN3

Look on the steering stem for the serial number and look here may help...
