this round of court is over , got the kids back
so back to the shed and now I can relax knowing the kids are sleeping happily inside..
yeah the bike does like to be warm , it's still not pulling very hard though . I wish that tacho would work .But that said it did move a couple of times , jumps up to around 7 grand them goes back down to zero , I think I have read something about that somewhere so I'll do some research.
Other then that I'll lower the needle clip one more , idle needs adjusting again , as it revs a bit high then drops a bit low , toggle the throttle it revs a bit high again for a little while then drops to low again , bit like an air leak...
Also I grabbed some welding tips and tube today to balance the carbs as I haven't done that yet either.
One last thing , should much noise come from the timing chain , mine seems a bit noisy at lower revs , could be just me not knowing this bikes ..
So thats where I'm at tonight , change needle , adjust idle , balance ..
then I might do the valve heights again , I just don't like that after I did them they were at their lowest tolerance. and 3$ each shim up the road from here (not exchange) is no big deal.
