Tachometer Resistor Questions

I need to replace the big blue 51ohm resistor in my tachometer as it was fried when the VRR failed on the PO of my bike.

The info I have gleaned from the forum on the required specs are:

51ohm, 5w, 5%

The questions I have are;

1) is this info correct?
2) wire wound or metal oxide?
3) any other important info I should know?

Thanks in advance. :notworthy:

Hi,
think that was covered by Trifgeorge or DonTZ in the post archives or the WIKI.

That's where I found the info that I have already gleaned, but left me with the questions in my OP.
