FZR600 VR Wiring

Post by SilverJS »

Hey all,

Putting a FZR600 wiring harness on the 660 (in the 400 frame). I've got one of the newer wiring harnesses that plugs into my YZF600 voltage regulator - but, the FZR harness has an additional wire next to the VR plugin, with a black wire terminating in a small loop (just like you'd plug in the battery negative), so I'm assuming it's a ground. Question then : where is this plugged on the newer FZRs? Do I have to drill my subframe, or can I just stick it with one of the bolts holding the VR down?

Cheers!

OK, here's another one - how do you guys connect your headlights?!? Just noticed that there are NO connectors for both headlights. Seems like of the three connectors at the front, the blue one is most likely to split off into the two headlight connectors...can anybody please shed some light on this...? Hell, I hope I don't need yet another harness or something...
