So i've fitted the tank, now to wire up the sender, i'm guessing 12v to one side of the warning lamp, other side to green wire on sender, black on sender to ground?
I have the sender on the desk, i expected 0 ohms (closed circuit) between green & black wires while up vertical (as mounted it the tank) and infinite ohms (open circuit) when upside down, all i get is infinite ohms, i've tested the ohms between the white wire (top of the sender) and the little silver pot (whatever they call it) so it's not the wires, still infinite ohms, is the sender shot? or don't it work like im thinking?
Thanks
Mal

Re: YZF600 fuel level sender
Thanks for that.
I didn't want to fill up the tank till i knew the sender was ok, oh well just have to let it drain and see.
knew id saw it some where, i was searching "fuel sender"
