No electricity..HELP!
Hey guys, idk what happened but last week while i was working on my bike i lost all electricity. It started up and everything worked fine when i first started working on it but about an hour later when i turned the key to start it there was no lights, and it wont crank or anything. The only thing i did that could have messed with the electricity was i disconnected and took off the VR because i am doing an 04-06 R1 tail swap. I hooked it back up and had it back on the bike when i tried to start it. I tried charging the battery but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Im thinking it has something to do with the VR or possibly a master fuse? maybe something with the ignition? any ideas? thanks

when you say no electricity does that include light/ indicators/ horn ?
IF so looks like you took out the main fuse.
There is a flow diagram for trouble shooting the electrics in the WIKI written by one of our own check it out if the main fuse is not the answer.
In your personal detail you have not included a location please do so because if there is another member close to you who has experience they can help out also helps for shipping if you require apart.

Ok, problem solved! Two of the front blinker wires were touching and I didn't realize it. Whenever I replaced the fuse it burned out instantly with the ignition turned on. Thanks for the help!

hey guys i feel like a dumb ass and im a noob to bikes in all..i have a FZR600 and i started charging my battery when i got home form work cause i left the lights on and i had a bunch of other stuff on my mind so i took a nap and accidently left the battery charging for a while and now my whole garage smells like sulfer and my bike wont start...at first i tried starting it and i was making a buzzing sound and wouldnt start..now it not even making a sound or lights arnt comming on
wat could be wrong because i even tried taking the battery off and just hooked the battery terminals to the battery charger/starter and it still wouldnt start so im guessing its not something wrong with the battery..and ive started the bike before with just the battery charger/starter before...PLS HELP!!
