Since the bike is out of commission due to several issues, I decided that I would fabricate some scoops that were not on the bike when i purchased it. I'm assuming that the intended oem purpose is to aid in cooling of the cylinders/transmission? I've roughed in the right side and thought I'd give you a look at my make-shift scoops...no special tools, just some scrap galvanized sheet, a chisel-punch, and a drill. Maybe when I get big, I'll get a welder! I'm looking for comments with respect to directed air flow. Thanks.
Here's a few pics.
