Removing subframe for streetfighter?
Was thinking about removing rear subframe to make bike a solo seater, I have found a nice position for tail tidy to go, jus not sure atm how I'm gonna make it look fairing wise or where to mount rear light, also get a jack up kit. Has anyone else done this to there's, I love the look of some other bikes I've seen on google, oh and will need to make an exhaust mount : ) as long as I don't touch main frame, in the UK, should it still be to pass MOT? Thanks

Be careful - unless I'm mistaken, every FZR had the rider's seat on the subframe. Simply removing it will leave you sitting on the battery! There are aluminum single-seat subframes out there, but most are custom fab jobs for racers. Some guys got out the hacksaw and grinder to remove everything not used in holding up the rider.

Mines on the main frame, I might have my terminology mixed up like but subframe is what holds passenger seat and rear lights etc.. ? Riders seat still clips in : )
