Who says a nice paint job has to be expensive?

Post by KRUSHER »

Here's my wife's 92 FZR 600 when we painted it back last September. I used about 3 or 4 cans of OEM metal flake blue from O'reileys cost about $11.99 each then the lime was a different kind I got from a hobby shop cost about $10. The silver pinstriping around the flames 2 packs about $4 each, and about 4 cans of clear $4 each total cost of this job about $80 or so ! all was spray cans except the lime which I used my airbrush.

I remember this bike last year. You did an awesome job on the paint and at a sweet price. Just goes to show you dont have to spend a fortune. I spent close to $300 on all the paint for my FZR but I could do two bikes with what I got.

I wasted more paint than I used...

That looks awesome! Great job!

How much labor did you put into it. Wetsand and buffed the clear? Looks damn good.
