Spark Plugs

Post by ragedigital »

Hey all!

Can we get some information going on Spark Plugs for the WIKI?

What brands fit and what is preferred, plus online and local places to buy them.

Thanks!

i've been using autolite 4303's . you can get em at any car parts store , usually they're around a buck a piece , and i haven't noticed a single difference between them and the $7 a pop ngk's . some people are anti autolite , but if they wanna pay $28 for a set of 4 plugs thats their problem , i changed mine out for $4 with no problems what so ever , the ole fizzer runs like a top .

I by the OEM NGKs from Autozone for around $2.50 each. The Stealership wanted almost $10 each!!! Major markup!

I recently paid ~4.75/ea. for NGKs at NAPA, not much cheaper than the stealership (~5/ea. IIRC).

I've run both NGK CR9E and CR8E in my FZR. From my experience the CR8E helps an FZR that's running rich run a little better.

I'm using Autolite 4303s... got that from Rockso. They're cheap and they work.

Neither Autozone or Walmart carries them, only Advance Auto parts.
