FZRSupport: the FZROnline Archive

So I recently picked up a 1995 YZF600 with the intention of using it for 660 and other parts and selling off the rest. Now I've come to find out that the YZF should be roadworthy with a fairly minor fix. Should I:

a) Say screw the YZF and raid it for parts?

b) Fix the YZF to build a streetfighter out of it and sell the FZR?

c) Fix the YZF and sell for profit?

Opinions welcome...

EDIT: the title for the YZF isn't current. It's back a couple owners, but I could probably get it transferred if I got motivated.

I'd buy it for A, tell myself I'm going to do C, end up being B, and then, D; keep both.

I'm with delvrboy! In the exact same order. Except with the addition of option e) then lose money on both bikes after keeping them and not riding them enough

Ok so new rules and a new option. Rule is that I only get to have one bike. Sad I know, but with no garage and living in MN...

New option is option d) Sell both the FZR and the YZF and buy a Bandit 1200 and have all sorts of hooligan fun.

Back to the topic::

The goal should be to have a solid running bike with some money in your pocket. There is nothing wrong with selling off everything for a newer bike. Keep your investment going in the right direction.

sell them both, buy my bike!

How about I sell the YZF and trade you stock+cash for that awesome swingarm, frame, and rearsets?
