Maybe it's just a natural nack. My dad was a outstanding pilot for the coast guard and we moved out to Hawaii in my high school years. This is where my interest in street bikes came about. All the military guys had badass street bikes and I wanted to get one very badly. Well,. my father's helicopter had a malfunction and crashed sadly taking the lives of the whole crew including my father. That is when I moved in with my mother and step dad who were very much opposed to me owning a street bike because they know my adrenaline junky personality. My stepdad and I had our differences and I moved out onto my 30 foot sailboat. I currently work at a race-boat building factory and have access to many materials such as Kevlar, metal and fiberglass and I have a friend that I kitesurf with that has a beautiful shop that I may use at my liberty to work on my bike and other projects. Like I said I am new to this whole street bike thing but I have many various skills that may help me in my project. Even though I don't have many posts I have read pages upon pages on the forum and feel like I already know most of you guys and can tell you all are real cool and helpful. I am going to need help, I have many questions so any input would be greatly appreciated.

The early stages; Where my bike was stored at when I was living with my stepdad and mom because of there disapproval. It was very hard to work on it in my buddy's broken, messy ass garage. I bought it for 475 bucks running and It did not come with a title.

This Is a pic of when I got my own storage unit, I also bought another 93 fzr 600 frame/ parts bike with title so I could finally "semi" legally ride my bike and I could stop using this bullshit licence plate.
Bought r1 fairings.
The breather valve for the crankcase was just that filter mounted on top of the crankcase getting squished by the gas tank and squirting out oil because it wasn't high enough so i extended it with a 4 dollar radiator hose which will later be a fatal flaw on my part...

This is where I'm at now, I was riding hm from working on the fairings I ziptied the breather valve for the crankcase out of the way and I guess it had a kink and couldn't breath in turn pressurizing the engine blowing out some gasket because I puked oil every where and maybe trashed my motor
I had to limp it hm with it screaming hot smoking the whole way.

I don't need another bike though and I don't have 1000 buck right now mainly want it for the turbo. I dont know how bad a blow "turbo seal" is ..? so I think for now i will try to clean it up put oil in it run it see where it pukes then check the oil for metal if no metal then maybe i didn't trash it and ill throw some hi temp gasket sealant and see if it holds before I can get a chance to do the overhaul or get a new engine. I called a guy who lives by me and he has a 95 yzf motor I think I can possibly get for next to nothing but idk if it would match up to my mounting points,..
