r6 fairing mounting trouble fzr 400

Well once I decided to cough up the money the parts started comming in .
yzf 600r swinger,rear rim , fan,airbox,clipons,08 r6 shock, t-cat forks from ebay ,front wheel & triples next week, 99-02 fairings,tank, just missing the sub frame,
In the bike now is yzf 600r motor, just went thru and cleaned up the rats nest of wires and removed a old hid kit.
For the life of me I can't figure out how to line up the r6 upper and fairing stay to my 400 and get it to mounted to the r6 lowers using the yzf 600r guages and controls .
(I've already messed up the stay a bit)

Any tips or links on fitting the yzf 600 r gauges in the r6 fairing and still line up the lighting and controls ,

Does anyone have a link I could go to for some ideas ? who has done this mod ? any ideas would be great .
Also going to start my yzf 600r swingarm swap . I was thinking of using the drill press to drill the proper diameter after shorting the piviot tube and refit the bearings????

looks like a good start, i can only recall a few of these uppers being used. This is probably going to be a trial and error process for you. not sure you are going to find any how-to's on it. i always liked that upper, good luck with the build. lots of pics! haha

oh, and pay particular attention to the angle of you headlights when you are setting it up, if you dont have them at the correct angle when you start making mounting points, you will be screwed!
