some information on doing on a r6 tail swap hear is what i am looking to do... pic is from cad600's bike sorry for stealing the pic... but i think that the tail looks hott and would live to know how to get mine like it... what parts i need to get it done and any suggestions... thanks for helping me out... mark

Well thanks, but that is not my bike. I could have sworn I saw a pic of that one on here today, but I just can't find it right now. Anyway, here is a link to Rage's tail swap. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=32 He used an Airtech tail, but the princible is the same. PM 95fzr600 about it though. He did a full swap. The lights / undertail is what really makes it though. Good luck with it and keep us posted.

Study from peoples write up and if your good with a Wrench ... You will come up with your own MoD. The Next tail i use i want it to be one that no ones used so far . maybe in a year or two LOL2

You can check out my build thread. I swapped the entire subframe over though. It was a lot of work but it turned out well.

That's about where I started welding the mounts for the subframe. The pages before it should show the cutting off of the old subframe etc. There are 24 pages and lots of pictures to browse though if you get bored. It was a long freaking build.

the subframe was attached to the subframe by welding some mounts and some really strong bolts:
