FZR parts on a FZ 600

Post by dingsda »

What FZR parts are bolt-on for the FZ600 (-88)
Looking for the front end - replace the 16" wheel with a 17" setup. Or which 17" wheel will fit ? TZR 250?

A,
the chances of finding someone with amodded FZ are likely to be a bit thin on the ground you will have to widen your search . streetfighters .com ??? :headscratch: there are guys here on a lot of other boards perhaps they can steer you to other likely sites.

I have an FZR 1000 front end on one f mine. The FZR600 wheel bolts on with some spacer work, but the rear caliper mount needs to be thinned at the axle for clearance with the swing arm. I have CBR 600f2 wheels on another one with stock FZ forks. I have a CBR900RR shock on both of them. I am switching the F2 front wheel for an FZR600 front to get the bigger disks, but will need to make brackets to move the calipers out radially.
