One Diverse FZR 600

Post by shredex »

I came across this 1993 FZR600...
it has a Suzuki rgv 250 swingarm.
the tail comes from a mv f4750
The engine is a 1995 Bimota YB9 SR
Paioli front forks
WP rear suspension

I like the curved swingarm look! That engine seems to fit real nice also.
I did that.

The Bimota YB9 was a fuel injected FZR motor weren't they?

The earlier Yb9s had motors similar to the US spec FZR 600 motors and had 38mm carbs on em. The Mid 90's YB9s actually never used the US spec FZR motors in them. It's always been the YZF600R motors on those. They also didn't go to EFI until 96.

You don't. Anything that says Bimota before it is either impossible to find or ungodly expensive. The chances of ever finding one in the states is about as good as your chances of getting laid by scarlett johansson AND Natalie Portman at the same time.

typical. but everything besides the peanut cover and oil case is pretty much different
if you look at where the oil caps located on it, it is also a hint.
it does have its similarities though.
