i found a line on whole r6 front end , the guys is actually trying to part it .. its an 08 .. the brakes wont swap over on the fzr ..right?
what would it take to swap the whole front end .. just have the fzr stem pressed into the r6 tripples ? or is it much more complicated then that ?
im going to look at the setup this afternoon ... how do u know if the forks are shot or tweaked just from looking at them ?

Is this an R6 or R6s? If it's the R6 (radial mount) then the brakes won't even come close to swapping. The R6s will as long as your not putting them on '89 forks.

Your looking to see if the forks are bent or have other major damage. Also look at the triple clamp to see if it's messed up.

The swap is relatively simple. It will require either the swap of the steering stem, welding some material to the stem so it will fit properly, or a custom lower triple clamp. Yamaha_George pointed out a different solution that might be a lot easier though.

yea im not sure yet on r6-r6s havnt seen pics just goona take a look in person .. im just afraid that i wont know how to tell if the forks messed up internally or if they are warped being that most ppl that i see parting brand new bikes are because they crashed or dropped it .. so im kinda skeptic because i really dont know what to looks for
