Nice looking wheels those. What did it cost for all that R6 Bling? Parts here seem to be more than they are worth most of the time.

I paid $800 for rims, tires, swingarm and shock. So damn expensive here but not bad considering it has almost new tires.

Nice selection of componentry.

Should be a nice mix.

Be even better if you built that 600 engine a wee bit. Or sourced a good two stroke for it

I don't really want to do much to the motor as the rest of the bike is costing me enough time n money. Having said that I am looking at putting in a thundercat motor as they are the same but with 5 or so more horsepower and with a longer drive shaft which is what I need to make the r6 rim chain line up properly. Just missed out on a complete 94 thundercat for $500 dangit!

Any recent updates on this? How is it coming along?

Haven't been able to touch it for a few months due to work commitments, but will be taking it to my local fabricator to get the rear shock mounts welded (alloy welding) in place. Just have to work out the position and ride heights first. In the mean time I will do the value n shims and clean up the engine. Have been looking for a secondhand thundercat engine as the drive shaft is longer and will give me a few more hp too, but hard to find a cheap one here.

Steve,

Thanks for the update. I have a spare thundercat engine here in NY though I can't see myself carting it back to AU anytime soon, not of much use to you.

I'll continue to keep am eye on the project.
