Not much going on as far as front rims here......
So, with stock fork and maybe axle and brakes, what are the options for a relatively easy swap?

I'm not sure there is a need. Most people swap the rear because they want to run a wider tire on a standard 17" rim for more rubber options. Front runs a 120 if you want it to. You can swap out the brakes and MC for better braking so unless you are going for looks or weight if you found a custom wheel I don't see it being worth the money or effort.
If you start going that route it's money better spent to swap an entire front end over since the stock forks suck as it is.

Swap the front end out...i have a 636 entire front end for sale from a 06 ninja...it makes the bike handle way better.

Like thatkid said, not really worth it to swap just the wheel. Really need to swap the entire front end for any benifit. Another plus to a front end swap is more modern (to very modern) brakes which means parts are easier to find because manufactures actually list the bike. Some don't list the FZR anymore even though they may have products for it.

Ok, thanks for clearing all that up.
I was thinking that there was one wheel that we could swap that would be lighter then stock.

Performance Machine used to make a set of "racing" wheels for the FZR that were lighter and coverted the rear to 17inch. But they were expensive when they were new and they still go for 2 or 3 hundred used and on eBay. There are some instances where racers or people like ModKing (who is running a TZR250 front wheel on a GSXR front end) have gone about making spacers and axles to get the rim they want to work. But that's a lot of work. A complete front end swap will, just as said, be easier to deal with in the long run because of parts availibilty. And then there's the COOL factor (have you seen ABS's bike? Have you seen ThatKid's bike? Did I mention MrFreeze's and Modking's bikes?)...new forks just look sexy.
Ok I'm off the soapbox now...
