It moved out the mount so I don't have to worry about hitting the bolt and I'm using rearsets from a newer bike which means I can buy whatever I want. Wasn't that hard to do either.

Mark - you got a picture of the linkage with the new part in it?

Pimp, that was my problem. I think I might order some r6 rear sets and weld my own plate in as well.

Cad, will get a pic tonight for ya.

Did you ever get that problem with your chain rubbing against the rear set bolt fixed ? Mine still does it but ive put about 600miles since iv e done the swap but it seems i feel or hear it when im giving gas or going wot .. did u change out the rearset or grind the shit out of the bolt mount ? I think ever since i grinded down the rear sets i feel the pegs vibrating more and was thinking of using nylon spacers instead of metal/steel spacers hoping itll cut down the vibrations ..

Im in the process of looking for some now. I have been talking with rob and deciding which ones to go with. 1st I want to get this Hydraulic Ducati Clutch put on and then the rear sets. I have been thinking of just getting ones from the R6 to keep everything the same and just welding a new bracket in place.

The front is stock right now, no need to lower it. Now I just need to get the tail back down a little more, close to stock. The lowering links worked well but I still need another 1-2 inches.

I already have the triangle ones installed and it did lower it a lot but because of the shock location when I did the swingarm swap I still need to go lower. Im going to order the adjustable dog bone for the r6. Just have to wait because they are like $90 bucks and I dont get paid until next friday.

nice man. looks great!
I cant wait to get my tank in...

do you have any rear shots of your bike?
I wanna see the tire if its centered or what not..

I think Im going to need to go with a longer swingarm with the looks of this r1 tail I got in today.

how much longer is the r6 swinger, do you know?

I should do an r1 swingarm swap...lol then I can fit the r1 rim I got

I would have to do what those wide tire chopper guys use....the 4 gear system...lol

Thanks shred! If you go back through this thread I have pics from the rear(not sure what page). Its a little off center to the right but not that noticeable. My chain is straight and I have nearly 500 miles on it since the swap.

As far as length compared to R1, R6 or FZR, not sure. Mr.Freeze would know that.

i think the R1 swingarm would be way to wide to hack into the frame for unless u made differnt supports or somthing .. just get a extended swingarm lol
u can always bring the tail in closer maybe ..
