BTW...........what size is the nut?
It's a 32mm. Use an impact wrench..you'll thank me later.

I seen the mechanic that did my sprocket swap a while back take it off using a piece of 2x4 between the wheel and the swingarm using a 18 inch breaker bar and a cheater pipe.

Im planning on doing the same thing.

OK. So I go tmy 520 conversion sprocket in. It's a JT brand one. Looks OK I guess. It was only 27 bucks.

The countersunk holes are too small for the captive bolts to go in. They are about 1/16th too small. Should I drill them open a tad so it will fit or use the ones that are not countersunk?

Just drill out the existing hole just enough so that they will fit onto the YZF600 cush drive .. i bought the yzf600 rear sprocket for my swap but always thought that if i just drill the fzr rear sprocket holes it would work then another member on here did it a viola it worked .. i wouldnt mess with the countersunk holes ..

was this sprocket bought for a fzr application or yzf600?

It was bought for a YZF. The other holes fit. Just not the countersunk ones. I guess i will just use the other holes since they have more meat behind them for the nuts to grab onto.

Alright guys....

Here is the swinger painted with Rustoleum Professional Aluminum color.

And here is a picture of the stripped rim. I only used aitcraft stripper a wire brush and a cupped plastic wheel to avoid major scratches.

Nice. How close is the color of swingarm to actual aluminum? And what color is the wheel going to be?

I found the white duplicolor wheel paint at O'Reilys auto parts. I bought that and some self etching primer as well. Its kind of windy today so I dont know if I should paint it today or not. But I should be done by tomorrow. Will post a picture when done.

alright guys. here is a picture of the primered wheel. I scrubbed it good with mineral spirits to make sure it was clean. Then I sprayed it with duplicolor self etching primer. Gave it a light coat, and 2 medium coats.

Below the rim is the K&S hydraulic switch ( getting rid of mechanical brake switch ) and below that is my brand new BT020 tire. Got it for 60 bucks shipped on ebay.

Tomorrow I will be painting the wheel white.

EDIT:............NO POKING FUN OF MY GHETTO PAINT STAND!............. LOL2
