FZR400 Frame / R6 subframe?

your right the picture does not do them justice, this is a "put yer shades" on a polished finish :-

Yeah i had it ballburnished, i will find a scale today somewhere , im curious of the weight.

I could go to 1/4 " shock tabs from 3/8" that would take it under 1.5 lbs, but i would worry if its strong enough. Im now working on a all aluminum subframe that goes with the shock mount and bolts right on to 400s.
