Re: Project Freestyle
Finished the headlight setup. I couldn't be happier with it. I'll probably paint it black or blue later. But for now I am extremely satisfied with it. It' is extremely firm despite only have one arm, instead of two for stability. It's mounted as firm as any OEM style stay so I am quite satisfied because of that.
Also thinking about using my old Zx6R turn signals as frontway flashers to avoid having to buy new signals. Plus they look so oemish and I kinda like that. But they won't go on without modification,a nd I am not sure if it's worth the effort for something I will probably change down the road anyway.
Your thoughts? Would love to hear them.

Looking good, great work.
I think the OEM looking flasher's don't go well with a fighter build tho. Kinda spoils the look/creativity for me.

I agree. But I am kinda running tight on my time frame I gotta get it rideable very soon. So I might use these for now and then get smaller nicer flashers later.

Re: Project Freestyle
How much was it? I may have a tank that would be perfect for that stuff since my tank isn't able to get clinically clean.

They are too dark. I can't tell the quality of the paint job on the tank.

I have read more emails on those two items about the horrors of when they fail than any other set of emails over the last 20 odd years. :-{{{{{{{{{{{{{{
I have repaired tanks after that stuff by cutting them open with a Matchette as a can opener and ripping the crap out , and welding it all so it does not leak since the 1980's.

Re: Project Freestyle
nah this stuff is new. I did follow the instructions to the letter. The finish is actually rock solid. Very nice. However I ruined my f*ck paintjob with the acetone. It bubbled in two visible spots. f*ck acetone. I glad wrapped and taped off the tank so this wouldn't happen. Very sucky. Oh well.
