each headlight has two lights and a turn signal...so that means four lights and two turn signals...
six plugs all together...I have one connecter that can connect to the connecters on the lights...
I dont want to hack up the wires on the lights incase I want to sell them in the future. I can just get the r1 harness and get the female plug to convert the fzr harness so its a basic plug and play once Im done with it..

and heres the 02-03 r1 wire diagram which is pretty much the same as the 04-06

i might have the plugs that you need, I have a spare harness to some bike, i don't remember what it goes to but it's something yamaha. It may be a FZR1000 harness. Anyway, i've worked on a lot of yamaha's and most of them use the same plugs, just different colors. If I have the plug I could send it to you for like $2 plus shipping or something. I just glanced over the wiring diagram, it shouldn't take long to figure out the wiring for you.

I might be winning a 04-06 r1 right headlight with the harness.

It will be sweet if I do.

Im just going to need three different plugs
all are the white ones in this picture.
in order of picture
*one male 4 wire connecter
*one I think male connector for the main plug.
*one female 3 wire connector.

so if you have the pugs I mentioned above, then that would be great!
and if you could leave some wire on it so I have something to connect to, that would be even better! lol

I had a three wire connector like that but I needed to use it so I would be able to just plug in my 04-06 r1 LED tail light

i tried finding better pics of the plug, but failed...
I even posted a thread on the r1 forum...but they arnt helpful..they are mostly just dicks that have r1's to compansate for something...

well, Iv dicided that maybe threw time. Ill buy the 04-06 r1 motor for cheap and find a cheap titled frame and just build one from scratch and all the parts I have allready.
maybe...maybe not..

I've thought about going that route..there are insurance auctions here where people go and buy crashed bikes for $800 - $1500, that's the average price. I want to get one and fix it up, but I don't want a 1000 anything, I'd be happy with a 600, or maybe a 750.

Shredex,
If you have the opposite sockets for these plugs then you should be able to buy them in Autozone or some such. I buy mine on line from a UK company i can get you the URL if you get stuck

Shred - This place will have all you need for wire connectors. http://www.vintageconnections.com/ The only thing they don't have are the possi connectors (the white one that connects the brown and red wires in the middle of the picture and the upper right picture) but they are available from other places. I've built a few wire harnesses using these connectors and they all work great. But you need to plan what you need to buy from them first as shipping from California is a little timely.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

nope...Fzr has 38mm forks and the r1 is about 50mm.
im just going to take the stuff off the r1 clamp and put it on my fzr clamp until I can afford the r1 forks to do the conversion
I could also have a buddy make spacers for it that will be two half circles that will give it the right spacing and be able to be clamped together onto the forks...
if you dont understand what I mean, here is a paint I did of it

It was really just said out of anger because I was walking threw my garage and accedently hit the front fairing and the piece I plastic welded back on broke right off again...so I was pissed...
I might keep the plastics and finish the conversion...or I might not..
I havent had any work, so im hurting bad.
Iv applied at probably more than 50 places and non of them hired me.
Id love to finish this project, but I am just having money troubles.
Im going to go up and try to pawn off another one of my guitars and hopefully get more than just $10 for it banghead
and not only that, but Christmas is just around the corner and I have no money for gifts.
Im doing my best to stay optimistic about this but its very hard and somewhat depressing.
I have school to, which Im not doing so well in right now and I probably wont be able to pass high school for another year.
Im at risk of the my gf leaving me if I cant pull things together and prove that I have a life ahead of me...
Ill get better sometime, Im just being pounded on hard right now.

just put in a 04-06 r1 throttle and cables.
it allows for MUCH better throttle response.
the stock throttle, you need to turn it very far around to open the carbs fully.
with this r1 throttle, I only have to turn it about 3/4 of the way the stock did

vid is proccessing, but heres the link
