i think ill keep working on it...i just bought a 91 oem fzr 600 upper and windscreen on ebay last night. i decided not to go R1 upper...its gonan cost me way to much and i already got a ton into this build. i just wont use the stock FZR light

i dont got 3-4K to get a newer bike all at once....but i got 100-200 per month for custo stuff...i almost have nearly every part i need also now so i might as well try to build a fly fzr.

just spoke with the king....wheel spacers are finalized, drawing sent and product will be made out of the strong light shit....7075 aluminum.

should have product around middle - end of june!!!!!! then i am 1 step closer for the rear end being 100% finished and 100% ready to bolt on.

next in line will be the custom 92 upper i have...

figured out how to get small round lights in the 92 upper easy to...just get a street legal dirtbike front numberplate with the lights in it....UFO head light that sells for $60 new on ebay. problem solved, high and low beams, just cut out the middle and plastic bond it to the upper.

should look somthing like this when i am finished. BTW i scored the white ufo number plate for $30 on ebay...it was $59.99 or make offer hehe. the upper has been spray painted black and was not primed at all before they did so. i have 4 hours into sanding it down to the original white and red...prob about 10-12 more hours and it will be ready for plastic bonding. i also just order a plastex kit today so by this time next week i should be able to fix up this upper real nice.

Looks kinda like a 400rr headlight. I was going suggest going with maybe 2 R6 head lights next to each other. But your solution seems MUCH easier.

hey abs, out of curiosity, the 92 (single headlight) fairing uses the same fairing mount bracket right? so if i wanted to use a single headlight fairing on my '96, i wouldn't need the bracket too would i?

yep you would need the bracket to convert the headlight from dual to single

WOW ABS! I just went through and read the whole thread and that is going to be a sweet looking FZR600/YZF/ZX6R/WTF! Keep up the good work and pics because you sure know what you are doing.

things are comming along. modking finished my wheel spacers so now the rear end is a bolt on. just need to cut down my foot peg area right now to fit the yzf600r swingarm in.

the guy in FL got back to me and my stuff is done so what will be shipped back. i may throw the front and rear end on soon. id like to wait kinda until i paint the frame and everything but i should prob do it now in case i need to mod anything else.

02 R6 rim is how mechanicly centered in the yzf600r swingarm. Modking used my drawing i drew up made me some spacers in a very timely mannor. the only mod left for this swap is to weld some on the yzf600r swingarm to attach the R6 rear caliper mount stay. its a pretty sick mod and looks way cooler the the YZf600r stuff...plus you can run a 180 tire.
