UPDATES......... I haven't been real good about updates But I have completed the wiring on the R6 controls those are ready to plug in. One thing I'm not sure of is the 2 sets of female plugs up at the control end on the left hand side, what do they go to? also the above question about the choke? Thanks
I have started the Dash wiring, I am only half way through it. I got some questions, see the below photo and spread sheet. can someone please give me a hand? Thanks
I will post up pictures of the bracket that I got welded on later.

This is the bracket I got welded on for the front fairing stay
R6 bolt on brake system, I LOVE this mod, it was straight bolt on , I want to upgrade the lines though, and noticed they a bit tight. What do you guys use for new lines?

Im going to use R1 instead of R6 since the R6 is a much higher revving bike and the R1 redline is almost the same as the FZR, the tach matches up better and you dont have to guess at a glance.
R6 gauge reads 18k on the tach. Its about time you decided this. Are you going to drill the hole in the case? Good luck with it. Keep us posted on the swap. Oh, you can help ma with the WIKI when you finish it.
Can you help me now? please..... I really want to get my bike on the road.

Thanks, I followed that, Mine was a tad differnent
I also Have the complete r6 electrical diagrams and the FZR diagram
I'm on the last bit of wiring. I just need to hook up the magic white box, speed sensor, healer, etc.
Question though, I had a thought.... instead of the automotive relay, why couldn't I use the hi/lo stock r6 relay, that way I have a nice bracket and connector?

I pluged everything in hot wired the ignition and it worked, all the switches worked on the r6 controls, except the horn. the r6 dash came on and everything i had hooked up worked except the gas, oil, speed, and rpm's, but I just have to finish hooking up the tach box, speed sensor, and oil relay.
On a side note my ignition plug was extremely corroded, and I am going to just swap in the r6 male and female plug

The upper fairing finally bolted up I still have the ram air system to figure out
hooking up of the white box, There are two plugs on the CDI one with 3 wires coming from it and the other with 10 +/- wires coming from it. The one with three wires has a w/g and gray, I beleave the gray is the one that goes too the dash. since this is a output too the dash, and has a signal coming from it. is this the one I splice into? Cut the gray wire and take the gray coming from the CDI splice into the white and green? does that make any since? so the routing would be w/g to CDI to gray to white to white box to green to gray to dash......right?
Hooking up the Speedo Healer
can I just splice the output for the Speedo Healer into the w/g back in the FZR relay for the blinkers? by splice I mean "T" into it.

I decided to try to drill the hole the comin weekend, I am also going to swap in a later fzr swing arm and r6 shock since I will be taking those off to get to the transmission. I have run into a snag with the wiring though, for some reason my tach is not working with the white box, I am pretty experianced in automotive wiring, as I swap in a completely home made wiring tuned port injection harness into a truck that had a carb. hopefully mszilves will get back to me soon. I should be getting things back together next week and will post up some pictures

Awsome update:I have been in a email conversation with mszilves, and sent him my r6 dash and white box, so there might be a r6 version of the white box soon, Though I have decided to go with a r1 version instead, partly because of the rpm range. I have the bike lifted right now, and I am working on the rear swinger. What size is the nut on the swinger bolt? 20 or 21? Does anyone have the dims of the dog bones for a stock ride height using the r6 shock? I will update tonight with pictures, I think you guys will like my lift........
