Re: The FZ-R1 project (lots of pictures)
yay! another problem!
well, the bike hasent been running that great this week...iv had to add an intire bottle of oil to the bike during this week.
I found that after I sealed up my valve head gasket, now every other part of the motor is leaking!
It seems to be leaking from the peanut cover, clutch cover, where the water pump meets the motor, the oil pan itself is leaking ...
just what I need...
and my rear stand wont work anymore...every time I lift it the thing just slides up the swingarm and I cant get it off without removing my exhaust can...
oh yea, and the bank fees have jumped to $451...from $261...I havent touched anything so im gonna yell at the bank.
oh yea, and I cant ever have my laptop back which has pretty much my life on it...and also since I dont have it I cant do my senior project which is manditory to pass high school...
God, everything about me spells Failure.
cant wait to sell this hunk of steal and buy me a nice new bike. oh wait...I cant...my credit is like in the neg...
gotta love this world

yea, I wouldnt mind if my motor wasnt so ugly.95FZR600 wrote:What happen to the R1 gas tank? Looks good, I just dont like how you can see a lot of the engine. A lot of the new bikes are like that though I suppose. I just like the full fairings.
They stopped with that though on the new new bikes.
One reason could be that when you race the bikes, there is no room to put sponser stickers on.
its all about the sponser stickers!
So, I think my next bike will either be the 1098 R, or the 1198 R

im trying to think of a way to mock up some of my own customs fairings..
I have an idea with the headlights as well
**is says 660 because I plan to do the conversion if I can get everything cheap enough

I have those there incase i need to bring something big with me that cant fit in my backpack.95FZR600 wrote:I especially like the strap around the seat. LOL Fix that would ya!!
i used those straps to get my r6 headers from brooksville to my house...30miles
also used them to bring it to work, then bring my new slip on...then to bring my old stuff home after everything was swapped....

Re: The FZ-R1 project (lots of pictures)
forgot to mention
I finally left the girly yesterday!
it went down like this...
I walked up to her after lunch when she was with her new guy friends...
I pulled her aside and was like
"Not that you give a shit or anything...but its over...Im sick of your shit."
then she goes "Im sorry"
Then I just walked away all badass and stuff.
I have a feeling shes gonna be a whore when she goes off to college...well...its none of my business anymore.
2 years off my life wasted...

Re: The FZ-R1 project (lots of pictures)
i know you probably heard this before also, but i didnt use a condom in high school either, cause my girlfriend was on the pill. I had a son right after i graduated, and she was a junior. The pill dont always work, and when you go to college, its not only about the pregnancy, as it is about the STD's! you think you are poor now! have a kid, holy crap can they suck the money out of your wallet!
My son did turn out pretty cool though, 16 now, and getting his drivers license. He lives in North Carolina with my ex-girlfriend, and i am in New Hampshire, not the way i wanted it to happen, but could have been worse. I shall now step off of my soapbox, hang on, takes a while when you are my age...ok, now i'm down. bike looks good!

I did that.
