R1 swingarm is a no go....you have to removed way to much...you cant recess the bearings like the YZF swap unless you cut the material out of the center. i just machine and did the YZF swingarm so ill be going back to it...i do how every want to see if i can rob any parts from the R1 like the rear caliper.

so yeah the YZF swingarm now fits in the fzr!

Ok..just so I'm current on this..FZR 400 frame, complete zx6r subframe with body work and lights, complete Zx6r front end, yzf 600 tank, yzf swingarm. This is going to be yzf powered too right? You still gonna use the kawi front wheel? What rear wheel you gonna use? I haven't got any measurments but I wanna say that maybe a ninja 650r rear wheel might fit that yzf swingarm. Uses a 160 tire instead of 180. That would look killer IMO. But then again I might have a biased opinion :D

99-02 R6 rear rim. i have to use it because i have over $250 in a sprocket and rotor not to mention the cost of the wheel....

what really sucks is the R6 rim fits perfectly in thr R1 swingarm....all i would of needed is a spacer about .188 thick on the rotor side. swear

i am going to take the arm to another machine shop...but i know its gonna cost about $200 so i dont now if its worth it. i need to get my R6 rim power coated and some other stuff so i might just sell the entire rear end on ebay. last rear end went for about $300 on there.

the parts list is as follow.

1990 fzr400 frame
2006 zx6r entire front end with wheel
2007 yzf600r swingarm
2002 r6 rear rim
2002 r6 rear brake set up
vortex clip ons
04 zx6r subframe, tail and all that stuff
2006 yzf600r fuel tank
(motor is not determined yet fzr600 or yzf600r)
rear shock...not sure i may use the 06 R1 shock
02/03 R1 fairings (gotta buy them yet) ill wait until i get the chassis figured out and its a roller.

Ok now that i see the wheels together they don't look so bad. Keep it up. This hybrid of yours is gonna look pretty nice when it's done.

it's pretty wild to think that the frame will be 17 years older than the swingarm. But from the looks of things this is going to come out as an awesome bike.

What kind of sprocket did you end up using? It's pretty sweet from what I can see.

oh you like that!

its a supersprox sprocket. thats the name. its aluminum with steel teeth. super hard plated steel, cost me about $90..but a vortex is what like $70 and they dont last very long. should look nice on the strip with all the other kiddies running stock sprocket haha.

its gold bling!

that just reminded me i owe you guys pics of my YZF600R swingarm and ill have to snap a pic of how easy the R6 rim fits in. tomorrow afternoon ill be figuring the sprocket alingment...i have it down to 2 dimensions for the wheel spacers/axle sleeves..than ill post up a drawing for ya guys if you want to copy me. :duh:

heremy 400 frame and just thru on the tank and subframe to see how it would look. dont look bad but the frame needs to be black for sure. i centered up my wheel today which took 3 hours!!! alot of math and checking and rechecking all the time. :duh:

the other pics show the R6 rim on the YZF axle and swingarm...i took upclose pics to show ya about the side of wheelspacer i need made. also listed is a drawing with dimensions but i need to check sprocket alingment yet but it should be near dead on...the wheel is 100% centered though.
