And For Your Information JAX...Go to ebay and search Led License Plate Bolts....Those will do the trick and theyre CHEAP

the only issues with the license plate bolts would be that they wouldnt illuminate the plate unless shining directly at the plate .. ive had those and they shine a straight beam
Jax And Pimp---Check these out...This is what Im talking aboot. They are bolts with the led mounted in the side so the tunnel of light points down against the plate...And btw theyre only like 10-12 dollhairs.

I see wht your talkin about yea those are cool as hell a lil too stubby but would work guarenteed and you only would need to use one probably just aim it at an angle . Wish i had found these when i had my swingarm plate mount on my bike .
jax wrote:I decided to make my own. I used the caliper bolts as the mounts and use the rear caliper halve bolt as the 3rd mount. It is solid. I even put a light so the po po wont pull me over for not having a light. I will take a picture at night that shows how it lights it up...

I also took the opportunity to sink my R1 tail light inward a little more and shave down the rear fender a bit so it look snice and clean.

Have you had a chance to ride the bike with it mount on that side ... Does it clear when your riding and you hit a bump bcuz on mine the it would interfere with my pipe .. But my styling was also differnt maybe yours wont be affected .. Looks great though .. be nice if you could put that lil bottom piece somwhere else though

I rode today for about 1/2 hour on various different roads. No problems at all and everything was tight after I re-checked it. Unfortunately the police are kinda picky about inspection tag placement so I have to keep it where its at. Looks hell of alot better though.

Here is a picture of the rear in the dark. The lights light up the whole plate so I shouldnt be getting any flak from the cops ...They will probably tailgate me until they run my plates and see that I'm clean but that shouldnt be a problem..........Image
