thanks...but it took ALOT more todo that awsome r6 swinger swap than it took todo my r6 upper, I will get alot of pictures of the bracket for you, before I bolt it back together. it is a massively easy swap, just have to make a 3/8" flat plate with two holes drilled in it, then welded to the fzr bracket.

What year upper fairings work for that easy swap of urs. I got some r6 ones coming and they are off a 2002 will it still work or should I put a stop on that asap. I would love to see all those pics, thank u for all ur help.

i swear everytime i see that duc tail, i want to swap mine out! good god, what am i thinking, i havent even gotten to ride yet this year.....AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH banghead

should work fine you will have to fab up brackets for the side fairings, if you go with the r6 ones. and the upper I would recomend doing it the same way I did mine, with a 3/8" plate welded on to your stock downtube fairing stay bracket. using the r6 fiaring stay, that way you will have a spot for your r6/r1 guages :thumbsup:

Targets??. :udaman ..sweet setup...... is a complete custom setup, I was going todo that duc upper, infact I sold him the one he has on it, but decided against it.

Here in Greece, a year ago, i saw on a moto magazine, someones fzr 1000. Ithink it was '90 model (2 separated headlights). And the guy has made a complete change of fairings. He 've put from R1 '02 i think. It was pretty cool. and no one seemed to understand the difference between the old fzr and the newest R1. You have to give a very carefull look at it.

both are the same in having to mod up customs brackets
