Wow that does look very professional, what year/model R6 tail are you fitting 1998-2002 5eb? if so any chance of measurements/dimensions of those pillion/passenger seat brackets? i've mounted the riders seat, need to fab those pillion seat brackets next.
Thanks

Re: FZR600/YZF600/R6 Build Updated 04-29-2010
Not much to fabbing them. First we set the back bracket against the tube right against the tail light. About the only dimension that is really critical is the angle of the seat, which on my bike is 7 degrees, you can get the angle with the rear seat and fairing seating on the bike. But once you have that back bracket on you will have something to pivot the seat on to get the proper angle. The Latch bracket has the latch slot dead center, and just make it the width of the frame, make your "legs for that bracket a little long, then start grinding off a little at a time checking your angle.mawler wrote:Wow that does look very professional, what year/model R6 tail are you fitting 1998-2002 5eb? if so any chance of measurements/dimensions of those pillion/passenger seat brackets? i've mounted the riders seat, need to fab those pillion seat brackets next.

I have been doing allot of little fittment things. I found out if you use a heat gun you can reshape the undertail plastic. I also have been working out how to fit the over flow bottle I beliave it is off a banchshee, sp?. It is working fairly well. I have to make the back barcket tomorrow. I also found a rad shop willing to mod a YZF radiator by adding the fzr mounting points on it.

It would be just fine your doing me a favor! I actually plan on waiting until winter, I already missed out on too many prime days for riding this season.
I plan on welding the metal in and was just curious what is the size of the tube you used for the rear taillight bracket? what is the thickness I should get or is that all my proffesional opinion?
Cant wait to get your pictures!!
