Hello guys!
need to replace my forks on my Fzr 1000 1989. ill probably buy a R1 complete fork. but what bits and pieces fits with fzr and what dont? do i need R1 frontwheel axel and so on or does the fzr wheel fit the R1 fork? should i go for R1 yoke? already have R1 brakecylinder ss brakelines and blue spots.
also what years of the fork fits the frame? bearings on the head fits bolt on or what?
Spam me with all your precious knowledge please! need to be as far ahead as possible. this little project will be quick. buy all parts and assemble, no time for try outs xD
Thanks in advance!

Re: R1 forks on fzr
I know the later yokes have a steeper angle and therefore faster steering, one of the mods for the earlier models is to fit them.
I would say get the front end complete with wheel and discs (the disc mounts differently) that way all you need to worry about is the steering stem and lock stops. You could also consider R6 front end.
