Yamonda Build update

Here are some pictures of my FZR/CBR Project. To answer questions, YES an R1 front end will fit a 3LE Exup as long as you use an FZR 1000 RU tripple tree and change the center spindle. They are shorter than the original forks, but you can get a 30mm lowering kit for the rear end and then it is connected with a bespoke Hagon rear shock. Just measuring up for new spacers for the wheels which I am having made up but it does all line up. Oh yes, am also using the R1 radial calipers, but that's the next lining up job. Obviously there are all new bearings throughout. (yes back tyre is on wrong way round but it will have new boots before it hits the road, last things to be fitted, these were just thrown on for lining up and getting the right heights etc). Rear subframe is CBR900 Fireblade to give the arse end a real nice look (had it all laying on and it looks good, you need to cut the petrol tank lower bodywork attachment lugs though, to get it all to look right).

Bodywork checked and fits for now, not sure about the colour though.

Thinking of White for the main colour, waiting for the yellow to dry then I will try that on it as well. ImageImage
