i told mod king to make a mold of a yzf600r tank about 2 years ago if not 3.
02 xr200r set up for XC
96 trx300ex set up for XC

im roadbike less!!!!!!

not going to lie i thought i saw that on one of the fzr boards and i serched every where and found no replys of people doing it so i figured i would find out if it was wort it or not dont see why no 1 ever did it guess because to do it the proper will cost a lot

yeah i had told him ill buy a tank and ship it to him if he makes a mold. fiberglass the being kicked around and yes that was me on the archives years ago. no on likes my ideas so its cool.

I think what he is trying to get across that the idea of using fibreglass as a construction medium was being promoted rather than the use of injection moulded Plastic .

or F'glas is cheaper for the average Joe to buy / use / repair school of thought
Queens English dictionary are available from Amazon, unless you live in Queens New York in which case yer on yer own (hopefully packing, if after dark LoL)

ok so here is the deal i talked to the vack former about making so nice quality plastic one sthat wont melt once on the bike and he wants 150$ per copy so vack forming is out because that is wayyyyyyyyy 2 much so now i am back 2 making them out of glass

i have only made mother mold out of glass or used glass 2 make support shels on molds never really made any thing out of it except a capt america shiels lol yes i am a nerd goes with being a special fx artiest and a costume designer so if i make the mold any 1 willing 2 help me out with making the tanks

the mold 4 me is real easy andcan do it no problem if any 1 lives close 2 NYC or wnats me 2 ship the mold 2 them i will be partners with you on it as i really wanna make the tank covers now that i have the tank because i dont want to do the mod and cut my air box or use pod filters

Hi,
there are fibreglass tank covers for the YZF 600 R available or they where available, but it doesnt fit over the 3HE tank because its much shorter than the 3HE tank cover. I just bought one on ebay, will make a custom tank to go under it.

95fzr600 thats good to know can you post some more pix of the tank off of the bike and the under side of the tank because if it does not fit well i dont want to wast the time and money and get peoples hopes up again thanks for that post

sure, i can make more photos but not before 12. or 13. of june because the bike is at my parents home which is 500km from here :/
but from the underside it looks exactly the same as an YZF tank, just the opposite, because its supposed to fit on an YZF tank, logically that makes it a bit wider than the actual tank
