Re: track bike build
04-06 r1 front?
07 r6 swinger?
make sure you raise the front...the top of the forks should be fluch with the top tree.
the bar clamps go under the tree....

Re: track bike build
How did you mount the forks? Did you have mod king make you something or did you go with the threaded rod.
Also, you mounted the swinger without the engine in? How do you know the chain alignment is good?
Explain some in detail for us!

I just mean that the usd forks are about 3" shorter than the stock fzr forks...
if you lower then to much then your front wheel will hit the headers...
welll...I guess youll be tweaking it once everythings together...
just thought Id give a heads up

Re: track bike build
to mount the forks i welded more material to the fzr steering stem, then had it machined down and pressed into the yzf triples. and then made a spacer for the top triple clamp. i mounted the swinger without the engine in and made the rear tire centered to the chassis, if i have to i can have the sprocket carrier milled down to alight the chain.

Sounds like a plan. Maybe you will get lucky and not have to machine down the sprocket hub. If so, its easy enough.
