not bad , i've never really been a katana fan , but i did used to have a go kart with a katana engine on it ....it was irresponsibly fast .

I'm not a big Katana fan myself. But at $900.00 the price was right for as clean as it is. I figured around here I can double my money on it.

Not really! Those bikes are junk but for $900 I would have bought it and made some money off of it. Great deal!

bought it for 900 replaced float and gaskets in the #3 carb. Rode it this weekend. (its a pooch), Sold it last night for 1650.00

the float and gaskets probably ran you less than 100 bucks..?
there is a old honda 175, with the lil chrome tank and all for 400 bucks here, missing 2 sidecovers and needs a battery.......so tempting to buy it, get the covers and sell it for a grand after doing the normal maitenanace of chain lube etc and a battery

yeah ran me 117.00 from the zuki shop. that included new oil too though. It still had a stumble in the acceleration. I now intend on spending most of the profit on my fzr, that is after the wife takes her cut. LOL

My brother has been looking at newer-ish katanas for when he gets back from Iraqistan (first bike for him). I don't know a whole lot about them, are they decent bikes for a beginner?
