My bro inlaw just got a 89 ninja 600 with 4000 miles on it prestine condition but driving it and its over heating any ideas is it just from sitting he bought some stuff to flush the rad but has not done it yet any other ideas its obviously been sitting awhile?

a) is the coolant topped off?

b) does the coolant look any good (green? or nasty looking?)

c) are the rad hoses even getting warm?

d)if one hose is, and the other isn't....then rad is pugged, or thermostat not opening
