Oh get a motor for that thing..It looks like a 85ish 550 or 440....Look herehttp://www.pwctoday.com/forumdisplay.php?f=13
or here http://www.pwcforum.com/pwc-jetski-classifieds/
Stand-ups are the $hit!!!! So much funner (and harder) to ride than a sit down (couch) and they are a great work out. I think of them as dirt-bikes on water..Bring a stand-up to the ocean and you have H20 moto-X.... :headbang:  :bunny :banjoman

How much do older jet skis go for nowadays? How hard are parts to get for motor and stuff?

I would like to have a PWC, but then I would need the other required equipment (truck, trailer, etc.). A pretty expensive proposition that would compete for time that could be spent bonding with my bike. bandana

Oh Rockso you poor misguided soul, if you ever rode a Wetbike ( or as I like to call them Suzuki powered crap) you wouldn't want to again!!!! One thing is for sure you will get wet tryn to ride it !!!!!Get a Yamaha Waveblaster 700cc. Its the same riding position waaaaay better handling..Heres a photo of me airing one out last summer..Image
Medaloxana you can get a used 1 or 2 person ski with trailer for a grand or so, this is a great time to get one off e-bay!!!!!
Miller nice 650 looks like my old boat.My 750 is scary when u go wide open, 55 mph if you can hold on!!!!

i've never actually ridden a jet ski or wet bike , but the old videos of the wetbike looked cool . someone threw this old kawi up on craigslist for free and i went and got it . me and the water don't mix that well , i'm too out of shape to swim far if i gotta ...almost drowned in a jetti last time i went (non swimming pool) swimming . but if i come across some beat up old scooter i'm thinking of grafting it into the jet ski body because driving a jet ski on the street would be funny as hell .

I used to have a racing 95 sxi 750 bored out to a 780cc with a ton more mods. That thing was a white knuckled ride! But the lakes around here suck and fuel got too expensive to justify 3 months of riding every year.

Image

As you can see... I wrecked it and bent it! This is why I "had" to buy it from a friend of mine.
Image

Some of the engine mods. Bored to 780cc... shaved head.... jet kit.... pjs pipe.... wrapped gel cell battery...
stainless impeller... port and polished.... custom ride plate.... custom paint.... aluminum yoke and steering...
high amp starter.... dual 520 bilge pumps (for those water logging crashes)
Image

I miss it alot. But requiring 98 octane or alcohol just got too expensive. Oh well... I love my FZR more. lol

If I lived closer to a cool lake or the ocean.... well that would be another story!
